The 12U and 13U Eagles Baseball teams closed out their respective 2015 spring season by winning championship games in the PBI Baseball League on Sunday June 14.
In all, four Eagles Baseball teams made it to the championship game of their respective age/division levels – 9U, 11U, 12U and 13U.
Eagles Baseball 12U spring 2015 champions
The 12U team, led by head coach Bobby Lineburg, knocked off a tough North Rockland Bulldogs team 6-2 to finish off a 10-1 season.
Matt Toman and Kevin Alvarez had big two-out hits for the Eagles. Brendan Lysik dominated on the mound.
The 12U’s are currently playing in the PBI Baseball League 2015 season and will be headed to Cooperstown Dreams Park later this summer.
Eagles Baseball 13U spring 2015 champions
Cooper Mandel went 6.1 innings in the victory allowing just four hits.
