Eagles Place Two Teams In PBI League Indoor Championship Games

Eagles Baseball 11/12U PBI League Indoor Season Runners Up with coach Wayne Richardson

Eagles Baseball placed two teams in championship games for the PBI Baseball League 2014-2015 Indoor Season that just finished on Sunday January 25.

The 11/12U team jumped out to an early 4-2 lead against the HHB Rookies before giving way late to three runs late in the game in a 5-4 loss. John Sirois hit an opposite-field home run for the Eagles.

The 13/14U team wasn’t able to capitalize on six walks issued by PPS Fighters pitchers in their championship game, losing 3-1 in a closely fought contest.

Both teams were coached on a rotating basis this season by Professional Baseball Instruction‘s Doug Cinnella, Wayne Richardson, Tim Norton and Jim Monaghan.

The league plays on Sundays from mid-November through the end of January with teams at the 9/10U, 11/12U, and 13/14U levels.
