The Eagles welcomed eleven brand new players to the program this fall with the re-introduction of a 10U team. Under the direction of head coach Wayne Richardson, the team kicked off its inaugural season with an exciting 10-5 win over the Nanuet Knights on Opening Day.
The victory was highlighted by four scoreless innings thrown by Motomu Sasho while shortstop Dylan Santos anchored the defense at short stop with a couple of tremendous plays, as did Michael Staino at first base. The team also did an exceptional job running the bases right out of the gate.
Mason Cohen and Marc Marron each had a pair of hits and Michel Kronick contributed two RBI’s to help put the Eagles in the win column in their debut.
